Devon
Reunion weekend!

Friday 12 - Sunday 14 November 2010 (3 days)

Join us down in South Devon for a cracking early winter weekend of birdwatching, and tales of our trips both near and far!

On one day we have chartered a boat for a trip in the afternoon around the Exe Estuary - for superb views of one of the largest Avocet flocks in Britain, plus waders and wildfowl galore. We'll also explore the East Devon heaths for Dartford Warblers, and spend a day near Mike Langman's home 'patch' of Torbay, visiting some excellent coastal locations with their wintering Cirl Buntings, divers, grebes and sea-duck and spectacular Berry Head with its well preserved Napoleonic forts for the chance of late migrants, seabirds and a resident pod of Harbour Porpoise just off the headland.

In the evenings we'll be looking at slides and hearing talks from members of our leadership team.
