Itinerary:
Day 1

Arrive at Perth airport where you will be met by your private specialist birding/wildlife guide. Birding and wildlife viewing in the Darling Range (White-breasted Robin, Western Yellow Robin, Red-winged and Splendid Fairy-wren, Inland Thornbill, White-naped Honeyeater, Western Spinebill, Australian Ringneck and Western Rosella). Return to Perth during the afternoon. Own arrangements for dinner. Accommodation: Hotel in Perth (en suite rooms). Meals: Lunch.

Day 2
Travel to Dryandra State Forest today. Look for Regent Parrot, Elegant Parrot, Red-capped Parrot, Painted Button-quail, Rufous Treecreeper, Restless Flycatcher, Bush Stone-curlew, Blue-breasted Fairy-wren, Western Thornbill, Red-capped Robin, White-browed Babbler, Yellow-plumed and Brown-headed Honeyeater and Wedge-tailed Eagle. If you are very lucky you may see a Numbat, one of Australia's few diurnal mammals which is adapted to a diet of termites. Option of a nocturnal spotlighting tour of around 3 hours at Dryandra State Forest after dinner (Tawny Frogmouth, Western Grey Kangaroo, Tammar Wallaby, Western Brush Wallaby, Woylie, Common Brushtail Possum and possibly also Short-beaked Echidna). Accommodation: Narrogin (en suite rooms or cottage style). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3
Travel to the Stirling Range today. Possibility of Emu, Short-billed Black-Cockatoo, Purple-crowned Lorikeet, Regent and Elegant Parrot, Rufous Fieldwren, Tawny-crowned Honeyeater, Crested (Western) Shrike-tit, Banded Stilt, Little Eagle and Square-tailed Kite. Accommodation: Stirling Range (cabins). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4
Travel to Albany. Opportunity to see a range of raptors, waterbirds and bush birds such as Rufous Songlark as well as Osprey, Rock Parrot, possibly Fairy Tern and hopefully a few seabirds such as Australasian Gannet and Flesh-footed Shearwater. Accommodation: Motor Inn in Albany (en suite rooms). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5
Early breakfast (06:00) and then drive to Cheyne Beach about 60km east of (and about 1 hours' drive) from Albany. Look for Noisy Scrub-bird, Western Bristlebird, Western Whipbird, Little Wattlebird, Southern Emu-wren, Brown Quail, Brush Bronzewing, Fan-tailed Cuckoo and Pacific Gull. Return to Albany late afternoon. Own arrangements for dinner. Accommodation: Motor Inn in Albany. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 6
Visit an area of mallee and mallee heath to look for Western (Mallee) Whipbird, Southern Scrub-robin, Crested Bellbird, White-browed Babbler, Purple-gaped Honeyeater, Spotted Pardalote (Yellow-rumped form), Shy Heathwren, Southern Emu-wren and possibly Stubble Quail. There is also some very interesting flora in this area. We may revisit Cheyne Beach on the way if we have missed Noisy Scrub-bird. Return to Albany late afternoon. Own arrangements for dinner. Accommodation: Motor Inn in Albany. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 7
Travel back to Perth today. Arrive late afternoon and say goodbye to your local guide and own arrangements for dinner this evening. Accommodation: Hotel in Perth (en suite rooms). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 8
Depart for your next destination. Meals: Breakfast.
