2003 - A male on 24 Oct on the south slopes below the fort was accompanied by a Dartford Warbler - presumably they continued their heathland association during post-breeding dispersal! (JL)
2002 - A male on 14 Oct was the first since Feb 2000.
2000 - 4 bird-days. A pair on 27 Feb, with the female there the next day. A fem on 16 Nov.
1985 - A fem/imm 10-14 Jan and again on 22 Jan were the only records. Four bird-days.
1984 - Male on 21 Mar; a pair on 7 Dec, with the fem present on 12 Dec. Four bird-days.
1983 - Just one on 31 Oct.
1982 - Noted 7 dates 8 Jan - 12 Feb.
1981 - Noted 10 dates from 6 Nov.
