2001 - Another poor year. One on 29 Oct, with another 10 Dec.

2000 - A very poor year : just one single on 23 Oct.

1985 - An unprecedented influx in the cold weather in January, when present every day. Max an amazing 400 on 8 Jan (JS), and 103 on 22 Jan. Numbers only gradually declined and the last single was seen on 20 Mar. In autumn a single on 14 Oct was followed by five on 22 and two on 25 Oct.

1984 - 7 bird-days on 5 dates 20 Jan - 11 Apr. More in autumn, with 14 bird-days on 8 dates 16 Oct - 12 Dec, max 6 on 17 Oct.

1983 - One on 1 Mar was the only record from the early part of the year. A short passage observed in autumn, with 13 bird-days 10 - 15 Nov, max 5 on 11 Nov.

1982 - An influx on 10 Jan stayed till 4 Feb. In autumn max 6 on 29 Oct, with 18 bird-days on 7 dates until 2 Dec.
