JDM & recent Nothe records
2003 - An excellent early part of the year with at least one bird lingering off the Stone Pier until March. Singles - probably the same bird - noted Weymouth Bay on 13 dates 4 Jan - 29 Mar with a personal max of three on 7 Feb. In the later part of the year, singles on 15 Nov & 22 Dec with max three on 15 Dec (DBR). 21 bird-days.
2002 - One Weymouth Bay on 14 Jan; one in Newton's Cove 31 Oct. with another in the harbour 30 & 31 Dec.
2001 - Reported singles on 18, 25 & 29 Mar, and 23 & 27 Dec.
2000 - Singles on 3rd and 5th Nov and 12 Dec from The Nothe. Weymouth Bay : Singles 8 - 9 Jan and 28 Oct.
1983 - One from 1- 3 March, and one on 14 Nov
