2003 - 35 bird-days - exactly the same as Guillemot - though usually Razorbill has much higher totals. As usual there were more Razorbill records at both ends of the year, but Guillemots were well to the fore in the summer. 12 bird days on 7 dates, 3 Jan - 20 Mar, max 6 on 2 Feb. Singles on 13 Jul, 4 & 19 Aug, then 20 bird-days on 12 dates 28 Sep - 29 Dec. Monthly maxima:

2002 -Again, commoner than Guillemot, with 46 bird-days. Up to 5 noted on 15 dates from 5 Jan to 2 May. Then on 7 dates, 28 Sep to 30 Dec. Max 7 on 4 Nov. DBR max 7 in Weymouth Bay on 14 Dec. Monthly maxima:

2001 - None early on, but again seen in late summer, with two on 14 and 15 Aug.. two in Oct, on 14 and 27 Oct, and then a real influx from 24 Dec, with max 11 in Weymouth Bay on 27 Dec.
2000 - Just two noted in the early part of the year, on 29 Jan and 15 Feb. Then no records until an unprecedented series in late summer, with up to 5 noted on 5 dates, 12 Aug to 5 Sep (max 5 on 14th). A juv. on 17 & 23 Sep was the first I'd noted here. Then 7 bird-days on 6 dates from 5 Oct to 31 Dec (2 on 5 Oct).
