2003 - A juv. in Newton's Cove on 22 Jul was followed by another there on 13 Sep. Finally two ads went east past the pier in the morning gull 'rush-hour' on 5 Dec.
2002 - A breeding-plumaged adult calling past the pier on 3 Apr was followed by a series of records of juv. birds from the harbour and pier, with 2 present on 22 Aug, and singles - probably the same bird - on 5 dates, 26 Aug - 1 Sep.
2001 - A 1st-w was in Newton's Cove during gales on 7 Oct.

2001 - Weymouth Bay had 3 on 19 Feb and 4 on 27 Oct.
1997 - Weymouth Bay : 8 on 6 Feb, 7 on 23 Feb and 6 roosting on 12 & 25 Feb, Up to 8 at the roost in late Dec.
1996 - Weymouth Bay : maxima- Five on 20 Feb (one 1st-w & four ads.). Six ads on 2 Nov.
1989 - Weymouth Bay : Max 3 on 24 Feb.
1988 - Weymouth Bay : Max 5 on 1 Jan
1987 - Weymouth Bay : several reports throughout the year.
