2003 - One on 3 Jan was an unusual the early year record. None until 20 Sep, when noted on 6 dates in the autumn to 25 Nov, with a record max two by the pier on 22 Sep. Eight bird-days - an average year.

2002 - Just three records - a very poor year. No records in the early part of the year. Singles on 7 & 30 Oct and 11 Nov.

2001 - Seen on 1 Jan, and then not again until 3 Sep, when seen on 7 dates until Dec 20. A very similar pattern to last year.

2000 - Not seen in the early part of the year. A good series of autumn records, with probably the same bird present from 18 Sep to the end of the year (actually noted on 7 dates).

1985 - Singles on 7, 14 and 15 Jan, and 24 Sep.

1984 - Singles on 6 dates, 17 Nov - 18 Dec.

1983 - Just one single on 19 Oct - a poor year.
