2004 - Just two records on autumn passage this year, on 3 Sep, and 17 Oct. The latter was 'seen off ' by a Sparrowhawk - it is just possible that the increase in the latter has something to do with the decline in Kestrel records.

2003 - Three records again this year, on 28 Sep, 28 Oct, and 13 Nov: all typical autumn passage dates.

2002 - A better year, with three records, on 26 July, 17 Sep, and 11 Oct, when one was seen to take one of the many passerines passing through that day.

2001 - A male perched on the north side trees on 15 Aug was the only record - a declining species here.

2000 - Two records only - one on 23 Sep, and another on 20 Oct.

1999 - One on 23 Feb 1999 (CB).

1985 - Seven single records : on 7 & 11 Jan, 5 Feb, 27 Mar, 19 Apr, 23 & 25 Oct.

1984 - Seven single records : on 10, 12 & 26 Jan, 6 Feb, 30 Mar, 4 Apr, 28 Nov.

1983 - Singles on 17 Jan, 22 Mar, 21 Apr, 5 & 9 May, 7 & 21 Jul, 19, 26 & 29 Sep, 8 singles 21 Oct - 14 Nov, and 13 & 14 Dec. 20 bird-days.
