1995 - Weymouth Bay : six on 5 Nov. Other records from Newton's Cove.

JDM records
2002 - A much better showing this year, especially in summer. Noted on 16 dates. A group of up to 4 ( 2m, 2f) lingered in the bay 21 - 28 Feb. these were followed by another flock of up to 7 ( 3m, 4f) 19-23 Mar, with the last in spring a drake on 27 Apr. An excellent series of summer records began with 11 on 22 Jun, with 6 on 30 Jul the last until 28 Sep, when a max of 19 was noted. The last two were on 9 Oct. Monthly maxima:
