- A
very poor year - two (or possibly one seen twice!) flying past on 5 Nov.
2002 - A record max 33 seen distantly over the bay flying west to the breakwater on 20 Apr may possibly have been light-bellied. A good series of autumn records, with 20W on 28 Sep, then up to 7 seen on another 5 dates to 18 Nov.
2001 - Nine on passage in the bay on 23 Apr was the only record from the early part of the year. Three went by on 15 Oct, with another in Newton's Cove on 10 Dec.
2000 - One roosting in the bay on 10 Mar was the only record in the first part of the year. In December three past the fort on 4 Dec and three in the bay on 31 Dec.

2003 - Light-bellied Brent Goose Branta bernicla hrota : 16 in Weymouth Bay on 21 Apr (DBR) - only the third record of this race, but 33 seen on 20 Apr 2002 (note the nearness of date) may also have been of this race.
1995 - Weymouth Bay - 5 Light-bellied Brents on 22 Mar.
1994 - Weymouth Bay - 13 Light-bellied Brents on 30 Mar.
1992 - Weymouth Bay - 15 WSW on 1 Oct; max. 18 on 28 Oct.
