Frank is a naturalist who studied Ecology and worked mainly with SOVON on ornithological and ecological projects in the Netherlands. International activities have included organizing the waterbird counts in Iran in 2002-2007 and training in the very meeting room in Ramsar. Since 2008 he and his wife have worked in Zambia, managing Kasanka and Lavushi Manda National Parks and, since the end of 2015, Mutinondo Wilderness Reserve. Known best as a birder, Frank is fanatic about reptiles and anything else that lives.
