Aslan is a biologist and naturalist guide from Batumi in Georgia. A very keen birder, Aslan has been guiding birding groups for several years in the Batumi area (which is known locally as the Adjara region), particularly during the incredible raptor migration which occurs around late September. He is a font of knowledge when it comes to the fauna and flora of the Adjara region and is known for regularly finding local specialities, such as Caucasian viper or Clark's lizard, as well as all of the birds to be found here. In addition to raptors and the Caucasus mountains, Aslan is well versed with the species of Mtirala National Park and also the Kolkheti Wetlands.
