Namibia: A Land of Contrasts
Nick first travelled to Namibia in 2001 and hasn’t been able to stop going back since! On this Discovery Evening, he offers his insights into this remarkable destination. Journey with Nick down into Sossusvlei, up into Walvis Bay and Damaraland, before heading across to Etosha and ending in Namibia’s capital, Windhoek.
Speaker: Nick Joynes
Nick spent 10 years working in TV before being bitten by the travel bug in the late 90s and embarking on a round-the-world journey. Keen to encourage others to do the same, Nick was instrumental in creating a successful youth expedition company, and has since re-focused on wildlife and remote locations as a director of The Travelling Naturalist.
Nuts About Brazil
