Quizmoth 3

Not a sharp pic,Ok, and it's a micro, OK, but it's a very widespread one, flies by day, quite easy, and worth knowing to impress people. This was taken in September. Guesses as before - please post on Twitter with a #quizmoth tag. Could you also tag #moths so we can get more mothfolk involved! Go on, have a go!

Quizmoth 2

These are appearing most nights at the moment. Guesses as before please post on Twitter with a #quizmoth tag. Could you also tag #moths so we can get more mothfolk involved!

Ok, waited long enough. It's a Drinker

Quizmoth 1

Kent Black Arches - silly name for a widespread moth, but Nationally Scarce B, so I'm happy!

Congrats to @bobthebirder for the first correct answer. Next #quizmoth soon!

Found on the morning of 1 July, I had no idea what this was - and in fact there were two! It is quite small - about the size of a Minor. I eventually found it in both Skinner and Lewington, so it is a macro. The trap is in Dorset, near heath, chalk, and river, about 10 miles from the coast.
